How is it possible ?

Brief explanation

Belief plays a major role, the mind is incredibly powerful.


Our cells are able to produce energy without the stimulation of food.

This is the job of Mitochondria.


We can absorb energy from the breath, sunlight, nature, water, and food if desired.

All our body needs is energy and food is not a necessary source.


We know the history books are wrong and humans have been around for a lot longer, the evidence to how our body's have changed over time suggests that the intestine/stomach were once rudimentary, the same as mans ability to produce milk and woman's rudimentary penis.


Nutrition! well its a myth healthy breatharians prove this.


Food only stimulates the cells the same as a drug like nicotine, this is why food is so addictive, the body is used to it and demands it.

A word of warning

Lots of breatharians have gone public and you will find there is a common thread, however their ideas on how they are sustained and nourished and especially how you go about achieving it can vary greatly.


Remember the most important and powerful thing is belief.

So check them all out and see what resonates the best for you.

Teachers range from completely scientific to extremely spiritual, some have a simple approach (like myself) and others can make the process seem daunting.


Initiation process


You will probably have refined your diet during the months leading up to the retreat.

The first couple of days we have juice and water and start to practice breathing techniques, meditations and exercises.


Then 4 days dry no food or water, this is not as hard as it sounds and the group energy is extremely supportive.

Day 3 the Magic happens


On the third day the cells remember how to produce their own energy and most people feel a change.



We then introduce water and watered down juice.


It can take 6 to 12 weeks for the body to get used to the new way of nourishing.

You may not be self nourished 100% from the beginning and will need to support the process with Juices.

About leafe

Born at the turn of the 60s life was fairly normal until in my 30s when I experienced a spontaneous kundalini awakening, the experience changed my perception of reality completely, selling all my possessions I spent the next 10 years travelling our planet, with a rucksack full of essential reading exploring many philosophies and delved into various healing modalities.

I researched health in depth and have been on a twenty year journey of cleansing and purification of mind and body.


I have been inspired by people living the breatharian lifestyle for over 20 years and  recently went thought the initiation process again, I have been in transition over the last six years living mostly on prana, going months at a time on few calories .

My journey has been quite slow as I had a lot of healing to do from an abusive past.

At this point in time I am still in the integration period of drinking just juice and water while my body adjusts to producing and absorbing energy.

I live an active life and am in good health, I have more energy than when I used to eat and my mind is clear.
